Welcome to Dot’s Floral Preservation!

I'm Taylor, the one who takes care of your special flowers. And that's my Grandmother! I named this floral service to honor her memory, as most of what I know about flowers, I learned from her.

Whether it was a spring afternoon mulching her garden, marveling at her evening primroses on June nights, or studying her dried hydrangeas hanging in the basement, I carry such fond flashbacks of her when I think of florals.

Now I'm excited to help you preserve your special flowers!

Last minute orders

What qualifies as a last minute order?
Your order is considered last minute when you book 1 week before your event and up to 1 week after your event.
We do not charge this fee for funeral flowers.

We’re always happy to help when clients reach out after their wedding day or just before, but last-minute floral preservation takes extra time, coordination, and care to pull off successfully.

Here’s why we require the rush fee:
Delicate timing: Flowers are perishable, and preserving them after they’ve started to wilt requires more immediate attention and often extra prep work.

Schedule rearrangement: Last-minute orders mean we may need to shift our preservation calendar, prioritize your order, or even work outside regular hours.
Supplies on demand: Rush orders may require expedited supplies or materials to complete your piece on time and to our standards.

Hands-on care: We’ll always do our best to salvage and preserve your blooms beautifull, but it’s a more labor-intensive process when time is limited.
This fee helps us give your flowers the urgent care and attention they need to become a lasting keepsake.

Thank you for understanding—and we’re truly honored to help preserve your memories, even on short notice.
